Building a Quilt Design Wall in 1 Day
Last weekend, my husband and a friend surprised me by building a quilt design wall. All in all, it only took a few hours to complete. Simply Mitered Corners
I absolutely love the look of miter corners. They just a bit of professionalism to my work. I’ve used them on just about everything — aprons, curtains and, of course, napkins. Day 23: Binding… Pt 2
The first post was getting kinda long, so I broke it into 2 parts. Part 1 ended with attaching the loose ends of the binding to the quilt and part begins with trimming the batting to 1/4 inch away from the quilt top. Trim all the way around the quilt. Trim batting to 1/4 inch Then press the binding open. After you press the binding open, fold the binding over and pin in place.
